Abby is the head mama of Itsy Bitsy Bums. She started the business in her dining room in 2010, and grew it into the IBB you know and love today. In addition to loving all things baby and mama, she also adores fashion, art (complete with a Masters in Art History), Netflix-binges and long walks on the beach. Abby hopes to one day retire to the Virgin Islands and sell snow cones on the beach. In the meantime, you'll find her looking around for the next IBB Instagram photo.
She has one little girl who affectionaly is known as 'Little Miss' around social media, and is married to Mark, aka, 'Mr IBB.'
Sloomb Arm Woolies: For anyone who has followed me on Instagram for a while, you know these have been a long-running favorite of mine. Yes, they look like leg warmers for little one. But my favorite use – for momma! Keep wrists warm while working at the laptop, driving. Or just because mommas need pampering! Check out #ibbsloombarmwoolies for action shots.
EcoSprout Coconut Stick: The ultimate multi-purpose stick. Thanks to the formulation, this coconut stick has a higher melting point, making it a great addition to the diaper bag or purse. I love it on eczema, dry lips. Removes makeup like a dream. Everything! I recommend having a few sticks on hand – nightstand, changing table, bathroom counter. Cannot ever have enough (while I'm sure you can, I just haven't found that threshold yet).
Sakura Bloom Silk Ring Sling: My first true love when it comes to carriers. I had a few stretchy and soft-structured carriers when Little Miss was a baby. But my Sakura Bloom Silk Ring Sling was what brought babywearing to a whole new level for us. So easy to use – quick on and off! And easy to pack in the diaper bag. Perfectly matched my style (in a time where I felt like my whole world was turned upside-down, it felt nice to have a bit of something that felt true to me). As they say #permastash
Peachy Green Solo All-in-Ones: Trim, trim, trim. Yup, I will say it, the trimmest cloth diaper on the planet. Little Miss was so petite I was always on the hunt for the trimmest diaper, and this brand never disappointed. I loved them so much that we eventually purchased the brand from it's inventor. Yes, IBB+PG=true love.
Covered Goods Nursing Scarves: I love items that can multi-task and live on past baby days, and this scarf doesn't disappoint. Four uses in one, and super-soft material!
Logan & Lenora Diaper Clutch: Yup, another multi-tasker. Ready to ditch the diaper bag? This clutch is the perfect size to tuck into your mom bag or throw under your arm for quick errands. My favorite trick: keep a couple of wipes and rash cream in the front pocket, with a clean diaper in the wet pocket. If I got home from errands and the clutch is zipped = sign that the diaper is dirty and needs to be moved to the pail. If I got home with the bag still unzipped = sign that I'm still packed and ready for another outing.
Little Unicorn Swaddles: Super-soft, lovely colors, and a generous size makes this awesome for so many uses: scarf for mom, sunshade for the car seat, extra layer over the baby carrier for walks around the block, floor covering for playtime and more.
Kleynimals: Baby's love to play with keys, no doubt. Kleynimals gives your little one that satisfying jingle, weight and feel of real keys, but without the sharp edges or questionable material. Heirloom-quality, modern design, can be engraved – the ultimate baby present!
Jellycat Cyril the Sloth: Perfectly cuddly and adorable. What more would one want in their sloth? :D
